Maid-of-Mercia
I am in possession of a Thomas and an Edward, both of which need paint touch ups. The pale blue of these locos is very close to Caledonian Railway light blue, methinks. Perhaps one of you has some expert knowledge on the exact shade of paint I should acquire. Also, should it be acrylic or enamel, silk or matt or gloss? My thanks in advance.
new lad on block
Hi, Thomas has changed it's shade of blue, several times since introduction in 1985.Hence there are several different colours, nearly all of them were not painted, but a blue plastic was used as the main body colour, you may find it difficult to find the right shade.Edward has a least two colours of blue.If you do a forum search for 'R9289 Edward' you will see the photos of the two colours. Once again Edward, I think was not painted, but Blue plastic used. Once again finding the correct shade may be difficult.
