new lad on block

Hi Anglia998, I stopped collecting new released Hornby locos in 2019, so cannot comment on locos produced since then. I have noted 2 perhaps three missing entries. R080 produced 1993 Sp. Ed. Of 200. Other locos have same R number. Never seen one. R3099 produced 2011 / 14, same as R3081 but no. Certificate. R9098 Thomas range, produced 2005 / 07, with face. Details taken from Ramsey Guide.

Hi, that particular Hst, was produced as a train pack, R2045. There were two variations, one was made in UK and other later issue made in China. Produced 1997 to 2005, hence why UK versions around. It also appeared in train sets R1023 and R1011. Production run was from 1999 to 2005.

Just arrived from America, R801 Old Time Coach, Green Pullman Livery, running number 257. Production run of 5000 units in 1967. All coaches were sent to North America, hence were not sold in the UK.Comes in as new, unrun condition, in correct ATT box. Seldom seen for sale in UK, a very rare item. I now have all 5 versions of the Old Time Coach.

One for RT, found this while tidying my odds n sods box. Not very good condition, probably why I did not put it on display with others.

Hi RT, I have never seen a green clockwork with decals.There is a picture of one in Story of Rovex Vol. 1 page 166 thougth. I have examples of the geen electric version with and without decals. Regards

Three more photos of R3080.

Recently bought, probably a preproduction or sample. Several differences between this model and the final release, can any hawk-eyed members spot them. Not opened model but weight is right, althoutgh seller said there is no motor in loco, certainly not one in tender. Model was released as R3080 NRM Ltd. Ed. in 2011. If anyone is interested will start a new thread with detailed photos of this model and the normal released version.

Hi AN, Br. Ex LNER teak coaches were also sold via concession outlets,as well as on line. The full set were R4598. R4599, R4600, R4601 and R4602. also different numbered ones came in Train Packs R2906 and R2981. The Br. teaks are slightly darker teak colour to the LNER ones. Ramsey guide described them as weathered. Regards

Hi, R1153 was the cheaper less detailed version of the class 395. Hornby produced a coach R4438 in the Railroad range, but it does not have the square pictographs on the sides. Regards
