Carter31
Hiever since my first box of Airfix figures back in the early 60s Infanty Combat Group I think. Followed by German Infanty I have had a love for miniatures and collectEd all your figures. Largely for gaming. Ive lost count on how many I must have purchased over the years. Im 62 now and still buying em and gaming. The two sets I've been most disappointed with and think they should be upgraded to the style of the 1/32nd scale are Russian WW2 infantry and WW2 British Paratroopers. I don't think it will ever happen. But it's on my wish list if your reading this.
Doom
I'll second that, I'm a few years behind you but an update on one or two of the old 1/72 figures would be wonderful. Possibly in the new plastic that takes glue......

Andy1707820863
I agree very much and yes Airfix desperately need to invest heavily in their 1/72nd scale figures.I too have been collecting Airfix figures and kits for 50 years! I also owned a historical figure manufacturing company too and have a great eye for detail and a strong passion for the industry. I would love to be able to help Airfix with their future plans and help them make those millions that they want to make! These sets should be replaced by reducing the 1/32nd scale figures as was done with many of the 2nd edition revamped figures:-WWII British CommandosWWII British ParatroopersWWII Russian infantryWWII Japanese infantryWWII British infantry - these can be replaced by also adding the Combat support Group so that they have heavy weapons! This will make this set a BEST SELLER!!!!7th CavalryIndiansKnightsWould also like to see lots of new periods such as English Civil War. People will now pay double the amount Airfix currently charge if the sets are "Great" Just look at how good some of the other Manufacturers are! As Airfix have an expanding range of vehicles perhaps more WWII setsThe Waterloo series is good but needs many more sets to make it abetter seller such as Prussian cavalry, artillery and line infantry.I have thousands of ideas and suggestions if Airfix would like to hear about them.
