Track 2 much faster than track 1

Hi , Im a new member from New Zealand.

I recently bought a Micro Justice League Batman V Superman set & have noticed that any car on Track 2 goes faster that the one on Track 1.

I've swapped cars & controllers but the result is always the same, what ever car is on 2 is faster which takes a bit of fun out of the racing ( just try & get my 6 year old Grand daughter off track 2 )

I've just got an extension pack to make the track longer but that seems to have slowed track 1 down even further.

I've had a good look thru past posts on the forum( which is awesome , a lot of great info for a rookie) but could see any solutions

A separate power base for each track perhaps ??

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks Jeff

PS I'm loving this more than the Grand-kids and are just beginning to build a few models , starting with a Castle with the afore mentioned Grand daughter who loves arty crafty stuff , so a fairy castle with a tunnel over the track is in the design stage , i'm just waiting for instructions from the 6 year old "Project Supervisor"

Hmmm... the new Micro track shouldn't have connectivity problems like that.

I was going to mention that the controllers have power limiting sliders and to check that but if you switched the controllers and it is still an issue I doubt that is the

My guess is there is a fault in the power base section. If you can get a replacement I would do that. Otherwise open it up and take a look for a loose or badly soldered wire inside.

Hi Andy , Thanks for the advice.

As you suggested i have opened the power base and it all looks fine.

I have continued to play with the track although i dont really know what im looking for.

However i took the 2 "loops'off the track & found that track 1 operated much better and the car definitively went a lot faster so i re set the track without the loops and extended it with the extension pack id just bought and that seemed to work fine yesterday

But today i ran cars on both tracks & now track 1 seems to have a couple of Dead spots where the car just comes to a stop.

I have given the track a good clean and have checked all the connections and cant find anything obvious.

Ive gone thru the process again of swapping cars, controllers between tracks and all is good on track 2

Do you have any hints on how i can check the individual pieces of the track for faults

its quite weird the car can go good for 3-4 laps and then comes to a halt ,usually in one of 2 places

Any advice you can give will be much appreciated Andy

Thanks for your help

Cheers Jeff

Cheers!
I have had three thanks this week... I appreciate it!

Hi Andy , I just thought id give you an update

I got a new powerbase & that has done the trick , both tracks working well and the speed on both is equal , so we can have some good competitive racing now

Once again thanks for the advice
