Coming soon is the new Hornby sliding doors mark 3s for GWR I was just wondering what formation order will this need to be placed in?

the four coaches are:

Hi Ashley, welcome to the forum.

Someone will be along shortly with advice on your train formation.

In the meantime, could you take some time to read this post please? It sets out some guidance on how to use the forum, particularly the spacing between paragraphs. The “return” is not required twice. Your initial post has been edited.

Yes, the class name given to 4-coach HST units with GWR.

From a U-tube video, the formation of the coaches appears to be TGS (A), TS (B), TSD ©, TS (D) with the TGS guard's compartment next to one power car and the TSD orientated the same way.

Hi,

See this thread from a few months ago - https://uk.hornby.com/community/forum/r1230-gwr-hst-set#post-316415

I listed some of the coach numbers too, all ones I've seen at Cardiff Central. The real trains have letters for each coach, A-D, for passenger information, seat bookings, toilets etc, so are always in alphabetical order. The models depict this too. Formations are as follows:

43-TGS(coach A)-TS(B)-TSD©-TS(D)-43.
