how do i enlarge my track #C1383T would like a crossover, and lapcounter

I don't want to sound flippant but the answer is simply buy more track.

It is even mentioned on the box or or int manual that this is compatible with the latest track available.

As long as the connectors look the same (Sport) it will work. Avoid the older "Classic" track with the two round spoons or loops as it is likely in not good condition and will make the cars run badly.

Once you get over 10 meters of track though you may need to tighten the clips to ensure decent power. https://support.scalextric.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360016220179-Scalextric-Track-Maintenance

As far as a lapcounter is concerned: Any of the ARC powerbases has a lap counter included: https://uk.scalextric.com/community/advice/app-race-control

That’s an interesting comment about track lengths of more than 10 meters needing to tighten the rail clips to the track.

would have been useful to have known this before I set my layout up.

Also note the c1035 set is to the older "classic" style of track with 2 "spoons" or "loops" and requires an adapter for the modern "Sport" track.
