Good luck in your search.

Just a question though:

Most tracks that are designed to mimic some real world track are routed out of wood and then metal braid is used for the electric tails. This allows for the curves to match up better to the real track.

Only downside is if you wish to race digital (with up to 6 cars) you have to transplant the hardware of the lane-changing parts of track into the wood which would be tricky.


This can be done be any model maker as the skills are essentially the same whether it is a train layout or a large scale model.


Second option: You could of course get the right pieces of track and put it together and then have a model builder fill in the parts like the buildings etc.

The latter does mean you have to make compromises as the types of curves that are on sale will not always match up well. Up side is if you want to do digital the parts are readily available...


Oh, and you can forget about it being exactly 1/32 scale. The 5.5 km track would be 165 meters long and not fit in most rooms... unless you have a whole gymnasium at your disposal!
