Andy P.
This is response to:https://uk.hornby.com/community/forum/c8435-scalextric-digital-arc-pro-359758?ccm_paging_p=1#end-of-repliesCopy of content:I am trying to set up my C8435 Scalextric Digital ARC Pro. After the powerbase I have a straight lane changer. Immediately a car passes through the lane changer, and changes lanes, it stops. I have swapped in another (and new) lane changer but same problem. It is acting as if the track were analogue.Where have I gone wrong?
Andy P.
It could very well be that the power base is in analog mode. There is a small, unlabelled switch on the side that switches the ARC PRO between digital (AKA PRO mode) and analog (AKA ARC AIR mode). Here is a comparison of the two modes:https://uk.scalextric.com/community/advice/app-race-controlOther things that could be wrong: There is a loose wire and the other rail is getting no power.Try plugging in only one power supply in each power connection.Add a piece of analog track and see if there is power in both lanes.Good luck!
