TTS A4 decoder issues

Jim,

Just a couple of points to help you use this forum.

Point 1) When the post creation page asks you to enter a title it does not mean YOUR title as in "Mr Jim More". It means give your query/question a title so that members have an idea what your question is about before they open the thread. In your case something like "Faulty TTS Decoder help needed".

Note that if you lose sight of this thread you have started, it may be because a mod has edited your thread title to something more appropriate and you will not get any email notification of that mod action.

Point 2) your phrasing "can Hornby help me out" suggests that you are expecting a Hornby staff member to read your question and reply in thread. Be aware that this Hornby forum is totally 'user' generated content. Even the moderators are normal members of the public and not employed by Hornby. If you want a response from actual Hornby staff then you need to contact Hornby Customer Services direct by phone or email. Phone is likely to get a quicker response but I acknowledge your NZ location makes phoning more onerous.

If you actually explained exactly what the issue is with your decoders with the background as to how you got to this situation, then forum members may be able to offer further targeted advice.

Note that there is aready a forum member with "Jimbo" as their 'user' nickname. It might be prudent to edit your account nickname to something else to prevent any confusion. This forum software doesn't seem to be intelligent enough to compare a new member name against the names that exist to look for duplicates.
