Scalextric 1961 Jaguar E-Type First Race Win C4062A rear wheels fall off!

I have just acquired a blue 1961 Jaguar E-Type from the First Race Win C4062A set.

I have a problem that I do not know how to solve, that is after a few laps around my small circuit the rear wheels come loose or fall off!

Any simple ideas for stopping it happening?

Hi Bernard,

You can of course use glue to hold them on but it sounds like there may be another problem.

I suggest you contact Hornby directly (link is at the bottom of this page) and ask for assistance.

Pretty common for wheels to sometimes come off Scalextric cars as they are just pushed on to knurled axles. Super glue but only a tiny amount should work. I'd your looking for a better driving experience and grippy tyres an axle swap would be a good shout with some new wheels and tyres.
