Richard-354699
Hi alljust a general inquiry.I'm currently painting and repainting some old 1/72 scale Afrika Korps panzers and trucks etc.Problem is finding the right panzer yellow to use is driving me mad!I've just tried Vallejo 916 sand yellow on a new build Sdkfz and 7 frankly it looks hideous!! Far too yellowI'm not looking for exact shades and complex weathering finishes etc, just a basic right colour I can standardise on.Vallejo is preferred but I use Revell and Tamiya as well.I look forward to your suggestions. Many thanks all.Best regardsRichard

Many Panzergrau vehicles were repainted in this colour; when the paint chipped or rubbed off, the Panzergrau would show again underneath.Hu: 118 Matt US Tan + Hu: 93 Matt Desert Yellow 8017 Rotbraun – Schokoladenbraun disruptive pattern Va: 71039 Hull Red Brown orVallejo Model Air 71041 Armour/Tank Brown RAL80178020 Gelbbraun Vehicle base colour, Africa, May 1942 – May 1943, also used in Crete.Hu: 93 Matt Desert Yellow
