Tweezers
Yes Please!I can think of other kits whose molds, if they had gone missing, no one would care less, but this was a gem.

Jonathan Mock
Humbrol had that tooling listed as missing up until 2006, I don't thing that situation has changed since Hornby took over.
Russ1707821018
Such a shame this kit tooling went missing. I just picked a complete and unbuilt kit up off ebay for $49 and it is still a really nice looking kit. It seems a shame to build it so I am thinking about making a resin copy for my own use and building that instead.
thomas_mccafferty
so with the computer programs etc that airfix has and if they had a full kit of it they couldnt make a copy of it ?
Phil Peterson
I have managed to acquire several copies of the kit including the first one I bought as a kid in the 70's.It is a great little kit with only the 35th scale kits giving it any run. GeoFF03
so with the computer programs etc that airfix has and if they had a full kit of it they couldnt make a copy of it ? I'm rather doubtful. A few years ago a company "reverse engineered" a 1/48 jeep kit that had been produced by Bandai. When i was able to obtain one of the originals for comparison I foung there was missing or softer detail on the repro. Now I don't know how they went about producing the new moulds or if the techniques have advanced since then, but my guess is that a repro will always be inferior to an original.
