Choobacca
Another wishlist. This time for a Railroad version of the Alstom 67 diesel locomotive, preferably with lights. The DB version in red would be a popular choice (everyone likes red!). There's also 2 Spanish versions in yellow called the RN333.328 and RN333.325. Try Googling RN333.325 and click on the Wikipedia link called Archivo RN333-325.JPG The interesting thing about making a Railroad version of the Spanish version is that it wouldn't compete with Hornby's premium line of British Class 67's. Choobacca
Forgot to mention, the Spanish versions are Co-Co designs, not Bo-Bo. There's a picture of the RN 333-309 on Wikipedia that shows the wheel arrangement.
trainlover23
The only problems are 1] you would need new tooling being a co-co the prototype is probaly longer 2] The Spanish track width/gauge I believe is 5.00 or more 3] Spanish models don`t sell well in England
Choobacca
I guess that only leaves the red DB class 67 :-)
Postman Prat
Several other countries operate Class 67 lookalikes with only minor differences, and of course, different liveries. These can be seen in the last issue of Modern Locomotives Illustrated.
