I'm afraid this one put up a bit of a fight, old mould with lots of flash and updated parts for the Vb were not up to Airfix's current excellent standards. Last built the base kit in 1970 when it was first released and loved it, it was a diferent sort of challenge now but still enjoyed making it. 

The kit is built completely out of the box (with the exception of some fishing line for aerials) brush painted with Humbol enamels and finished with brush painted Humbrol Matcote.

Just trying to build the A50055 Spitfire VB and noticed that there are three parts numbers 36/50/52 that are not shown in the assembly instructions so I don’t know where they are supposed to be on the model can any one help

The 1/24 Vb is the Mk.I with extra parts. Those parts may be required to build a Mk.I but not a Vb.

Agreed; it would be nice if Airfix brought their instructions into the 21st Century and included sprue charts and lists of "parts not required".
