Railways of world war one.

I watched all the Michael Portillo BBC series Great British Railway Journeys followed by Continental journeys and thought there were no more. However I stumbled across another series by Steam Train TV on youtube only very recently published and found it most informative. Perhaps these were not made for the BBC. There appears to be only three episodes but well worth watching.

Hmm. Lots of close-ups of Portillo's generously proportioned nose, and three minutes into part one, the guy in the North Eastern Army uniform called him Pete! Near the end of part two, there was an old cine clip of a station (France) that was shown in mirror image, so the station name was back-to-front.

Disregarding the very repetitive nature, the Editing and Continuity could do with a wake-up call!
