Mikejs70
Hi guys , I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but isn't it about time all wing mirrors were made of flexible rubber? Near every car loses its mirrors within a week !!! Anyone agree ?
Andy P.
Not a bad idea but there might be some very good manufacturing reasons why this isn't feasible,... as an alternative a lot of racers drill small holes in the body and in the stalks of the mirrors and thread a thin string of extruded rubber and glue the rubber to the mirror and the body. You also use foam rubber on the spoilers by replicating the holders and gluing them to the body and spoiler as well.
gorp
Here mirrors seldom fall off perhaps due to choice of toy models, such as avoiding all fragile vintage f1s.Normally remove and save all wings because believe they do not help slot downforce, they hurt if you are hit by them, and they can be added back on if toy sold.
