Elliot1982
Hi So my bachmann class 47 has arrived. Already have the TTS ready with the dcc concepts adaptorThis clearly isn't going to work has its too tall now. What adaptor do I need?
Howbi
I recall reading recently that in a similar case the member had cut off the eight pin plug from the TTS and soldered the bare wires into the 8 pin socket of the adapter. The only other solution is to buy a sound decoder with 21 pins but that will be much more expensive. So no easy solution I'm afraid..........HB

Howbi
I'd like to see photographic evidence that the Laisdcc adapter solves the height issue.......the socket still has to be deep enough to house the 8 pins of the plug so the height stays the same...........HB
SteveM6
That ain’t gonna do it - still too high.As HB said it’s the length of the Hornby pins that are the limiting factor .

96RAF
Are we reinventing the wheel here...same players involved and same answers coiming out. https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/post/view/topic_id/22870/?p=1 ....in particular the last post on page 2. I know the other thread is a Baccy Class 37 but I doubt there is that much difference in the chassis.Rob

SteveM6
Those breakout adapters look useful. Fundamentally the same as HB’s suggestion and I will have to get some for the spares box when they are back in stock.
