Bulleidboy
Not me WTD - I've just watched a Youtube video and it looks like four Full Brake Gresleys, a Pullman coach, a Mk1 Brake and the Observation Coach.. BB Even our friends over the "pond" haven't go it quiet right - nice big layout though
Rog RJ
My brother has taken two speeding courses. Bit embarrassing for him as in his job he worked in the same offices as the speed partnership group and knew most of them.

96RAF
The tender that connects to the loco will have buffers at one end only. The other end has the drawbar.

Buz
Hi allInteresting discussion I just wish Hornby had produced an OO scale NSWGR NOBEX open wagon ANR generator flat.NSWGR wooden full brake, fist class, second class and buffet coaches of the right style and dummy ANR AL or was it BL diesel locomotive so the train as it pulled into Kalgoorlie WA could be nearly sort of replicated in OO scale of course. The Flying Scotsman is a very well traveled locomotive I would not be surprised if there was a world record or two in there somewhere.regards John
Tiger tank
The tender that connects to the loco will have buffers at one end only. The other end has the drawbar.the second tender has gold buffers one end and black plastic ones at the other. Does anyone no if this is correct as I seem to be getting o'ne reply from one supplier and a different from another.
Ruffnut Thorston
As far as I know, only metal parts are gold plated. The coupling and buffers at the "front" of the second tender are all one unit, a plastic moulding. This moulding dates back to the first tender drive "double tender" model. So I would believe that the plastic buffers are not meant to be plated...
