Tankboy49 Posted September 10, 2019 Share Posted September 10, 2019 Has anyone added a lake/river etc on their layouts and if so what product did you use?I want to add a small lake on mine and I know there's several products out there to replicate water (most are clear resins etc) but they have some mixed reviews and I was after some recommendations. Posted September 10, 2019 Share Posted September 10, 2019 As a kid I LOVED water effects on train and slot car layouts.I am only aware of clear resin (that you pour into a spot and use heat to make "waves" and clear acrylic that may have some sort of textures that you can cut to fit your space.Train set enthusiasts are probably more up on this than slot car folk I reckon...
