Track Pin Hammer

Does anyone know where to get a small cross pein hammer suitable for hammering track pins in?? Struggle to find one small enough....does anyone use these? is there a better method for fixing the pins in?  Cheers in advance

You can also get panel pin pushers. I use the above hammer to start pins off then use a small punch for better control over the final taps, so as not to get the pins too tight.

Press them in with the end of some pliers. Use Gaugemaster pins they are very sharp and have perfectly flat heads like me. I have never used a hammer.

I pushed all of my track pins in using pliers - and the board was ply - no drilling of holes required. When using a hammer there is always just the chance you will miss the pin!

And everything on the board  jumps up and down .

9mm ply bored. So I drill a hole with a 1mm drill then push the pin in with either pliers of fingers normally when I've misplaced the pliers!! So most of the time.
