walkingthedog
To help you we need a little more information, Hornby have made lots of Flying Scotsman locos, an R number and a picture of the offending part would help. Your post will probably be moved to the General Section.

96RAF
Many places where you can get parts once you know exactly what you want.New Modellers Shop https://www.newmodellersshop.co.uk/hornby_spares_motors_and_gears.htmPeters Spares https://www.petersspares.com/Hornby https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/partsandsparesetc. Chances are you don’t need a new motor, just piece part spares to refurbish the existing motor. Ruffnut Thorston
Also of importance... Why did it "burn out immediately"? Have you put a non-DCC decoder fitted loco onto a DCC controlled layout? That is not recommended, as it will quite likely damage the motor. Most Ringfield motor driven locos are not DCC ready or fitted with DCC decoders... 😮
