cedric_fairweather
Hi everyone Have decided to use point motors instead of the physical walk around and set points accordingly. I have used Peco PL 11 point motors on Peco track and they are 100%.On this layout I have Hornby track and want to use the Peco PL 11`s (they look decent and fit my layout). The problem I am having is that despite working properly the point motor operating arm disconnects from the rather short pin on the Hornby point. I`m just starting this project and have onle worked with one of my 13 points.I`m contemplating a blob of adhesive on the arm/pin assembly but if anyone has a more suitable idea I would welcome it.Kind regardsCedric
walkingthedog
You could make the pin longer.

walkingthedog
Then I guess a blob of glue on top might help as long as it doesn't stick the arm to the pin.
96RAF
If we are talking the surface mounted PECO motor then the hole in the arm is bigger than the Hornby point tie bar pin, but I found that the brass sleeve provided with Hornby normal point motor extension pins was just the right size to bush the PECO arm to the Hornby tie bar pin.
