walkingthedog
I have only had one set and that was when I was about 9 in the late 50's.
GWR 14xx Tank
I am probably most excited about the Sir Nigel Greatly set. Gresley was a genius with trains, and had very innovative designs. Glad they named a steam locomotive after him. Wouldn't particularly have been happy if they named an electric after him!
LCDR
None of the above.I already have the Rocket commemorative set, and I am awaiting the Rovex look alike Princess Elizabeth and two carriages. (Sadly no plunger pickups 😆) I have always preferred the red boxes to the blue ones!
BuzzyHornBee
Should've added those new royal steam locomotives to the list, recieved the email 1 hour after posting! Really would like to get my hands on one of those, they look incredible!
96RAF
Gosh - another FS. There must be more FS models than there were full size FS variants.
Bulleidboy
I've only ever had two train sets - when I was four (1951) I had a Hornby Dublo set with an N2 tank and some wagons, and then in 2003 I bought a Flying Scotsman Set (with four carriages!), from a special offer in the Sunday Express, it came complete with controller, track and Track Packs A & B - it's still sitting in the cupboard un-opened - I did add the Track Packs D,E and F - they are also in the cupboard. Probably good value compared to todays prices.
37lover
Sorry, but none of them. This is the type of question I would have preferred to be in the Off Topic section, but alas that option is not available any longer.
