luke_s
Hi all,I just thought I'd post this as some of you may be interested. For my third year university project I designed and built an autonomous Scalextric car/media/tinymce_upload/714d65fff3a15f227ff23ff56f063468.jpgThe car would complete a learning lap to detect the shape of the track and decide suitable speeds for each section. Then it could be made to race around pretty competitively, although I myself am definitely not some Scalextric pro/media/tinymce_upload/1f9922e3f9dd938a8ff25ff36b9f7f7d.pngUnfortunately I only have access to a pretty short section of track due to COVID but I've got a short section of film I took during testinghttps://photos.app.goo.gl/es5QrcyGtrV18cXm7 If people are interested I can post more details
gorp
Basicly you have reinvented the scaly challenger from 1st decade of 21st century. It is a great analog opponent and would beat me often.Over on slot forum, digital, scaly , there is a current project to make a digital one that changes lanes randomly. Andy P.
Nice work my Padawan! This looks very good. I am assuming it is analog, correct? The Challenger car is hard to find but yes, beating a robot can be very tough.Keep us updated and keep up the good work!
