I just made this one up, but no doubt it's similar to a common track.It's part of the joy for me, building a new layout each time. Trying to hit that sweet spot of challenging corners and well placed changeovers.My 'table' is constructed from trestles and boards, so even the table can be arranged in different configs. gorp Posted June 1, 2020 Share Posted June 1, 2020 The term goes back to the first golden age where it referred to long flat tracks with 6 basic corners. Guess you just had to be there.Scaly allows mixing of various curves of 45 degress radius to easily be used thanks to the use of "short pieces", which were lacking in many sets back then, so they were less challenging than your track today.
