7576737
Hi, Just acquired 3 Riv Re4/4s HR2100 x 2, + HR 2058). All have decoders but I may want to return them to analog for a time. Does anyone know where I can get the correct plugs for these models? I've tried Bachmann 21 pin blanks but most of the lococ lighting is lost when they're fitted! 96RAF
As with any blanking plate if you have a soldering iron then you can bridge any of the pins to reinstate the services you require. All you need is the 21-pin MTC standard to refer to and a few bits of link wire, plus of course your soldering iron if you want the links to be permanent and reliable. Howbi
You can run your locos on analogue anyway, and the lights should work. There is no need to remove the decoders. Just make sure that DC running is enabled in CV29. .....HB
ellocoloco
Have you tried giving Hornby a call???? Pretty much all the Hornby Int'l locomotives come with 21pin sockets now although I have noticed on some parts sheets the 21pin plug shares a part number with the main PCB. (eg HR2120/3)
