96RAF
If you have Amazon Prime you can now buy Hornby stuff direct, many items being listed at discount prices and most with free next day delivery.A lot of the stuff I looked at said the seller was the Hornby Store, so if you are looking to by-pass the Hornby £50 minimum buy for free delivery that may be the way to go for short orders. Brew Man
Yes, I've bought a few Hornby items via Prime. Hattons is also good if you're buying a few items so as to absorb the £4 delivery as most of their stuff is a fair bit cheaper than Hornby direct. ColinB
I have just bought a Hornby Rebuilt Merchant Navy off Amazon Prime. It was at least £20 cheaper than anyone else on the web.
BJT91
I have purchased a few Hornby items via Amazon through Jadlam Toys and Models although I know Gaugemaster also have a Amazon store. Unfortunately I don't do Prime but the items I have purchase of Amazon have come well packaged and undamaged.
96RAF
My original point was that Amazon Prime were sourcing direct from the Hornby shop. Hence you could save on the Hornby P&P.I realise all these other stores use Amazon.
