DCC Decoder for Hornby R3631 Wainwright H Class BR Early

Has anyone fiited or can anyone suggest a suitable 8-Pin Direct chip to fit into a Hornby R3631 Wainwright H Class BR Early, have tried a Gaugemaster DCC29 Omni loco decoder but cannot fit the body back on, must sit to high.

Your best bet is the TCS DP2X-UK. I fitted one to my H class and the body goes back on without a hitch.

This is a picture of the TCS DP2X-UK decoder fitted inside the R3631 loco. I have since fitting snipped the capacitor off.
