Stephen in Kerry
I ordered 1 pack of Hornby R8232 Electro Point Clips from Amazon last week, and got 12 packs by mistake. I have contacted Amazon and was told that I could keep them.As I had needed to re-buy a faulty point, I have put them on eBay at a reduced price (and offers) for sale in Ireland and UK - the euro conversion will also help those in the UK.I'm not being specific to avoid breaking the no 'for sale' rule. 96RAF
I had a similar experience with rolling road extra rollers. I ordered three (pairs) and got three boxes. I was told to keep them also.As an aside tale . . . I once ordered some special UVP lacquer for my holiday lodge, the ref number being the one the supplier told me to order. When it came it was indoor use only. Long story short they sent me another 12 x 1 litre cans of outdoor use stuff. I was told to keep the other stuff as if it got sent back it would go in the skip. The irony was the qty ordered was based upon their coverage area/litre. I used less than a quarter of the amount quoted and still have pots of the stuff left over years later. Stephen in Kerry
@Rob, I was pleasantly surprised, but not as much as I would have been had they sent me the wrong quantity of Expansion packs or The Aberdonian train pack I bought the other week! Brew Man
I'd hang on to a few packs, you go though them surprisingly quickly.
