slowshunter
Hi, I've recently bought a Class37 loco from eBay. It works fine but a week after I bought it , the horn sound stays on. Any ideas?Cheers,Phil
Flashbang
Try repressing function key F?? (often F3 or F4?). Whatever the horn sound for that locos decoder is allocated to? grinning
morairamike
F2 is usually a multi shot button. F3 and F4 are one shot and latch. Horn sounds once and then the button needs to be pressed again to unlatch for further use.Possible you may have to reset the decoder. Usually write 8 to CV8
96RAF
What make controller and if known what make and model of decoder? What is the catalogue number of the loco?
ColinB
The LokSound decoder has this function, does your loco contain one of these? To switch it off you you just press the same function key again.
slowshunter
Thank you for all the advice and regular Forum visitors know I NEED a lot of help but none of you are going to believe this. I sorted it myself. Unbelievable ? Yes it is. All I did was to give my locomotive a new number on the DCC Select and load it. All I have to do now is not press F2 to sound the horn. Am I the MAN! Don't all cheer at once.
morairamike
So if you don't press F2 what do you press.
