Out Of Puff1707822593
Hello everyone,I've seen a few threads about how best to clean loco wheels. I'm interested in the GM60 gaugemaster conductive wheel cleaning brush. I can't see anywhere whether it works with DCC. I wondered if anyone knew? Thanks so much

Out Of Puff1707822593
PS I'm keen to buy this, especially for smaller locos. I know you can combine units for longer locos. But does anyone know if one unit will still work with a longer loco, if you move it through the brushes? Presumably you need to ensure the right DCC command is sent to the loco at the same time? Thanks!
96RAF
You can only clean powered wheels as these are the only ones that move and 4, 6 even 8 drivers will fit on so most locos can be accommodated. But to answer your question - yes you hold the loco and can move it back and forth along the brushes as required.

roythegrass
I guess one has to be careful when cleaning wheels with rubber tyres ?
96RAF
Just keep those wheels off the cleaning brushes. Clean them by hand.
