Hi All

I have an R3898TTS Class 08

Would anyone know which decoder is fitted to this loco?

Dont fancy dismantling due to dexterity issues.

I bought one of these recently, very pleased with it.

I haven't taken it apart, but the decoder will be the Class 08 TTS, the same as other recent sound enabled Class 08s.

The early 21-pin ESU decoder Hornby factory fit 08s had the suffix XS.

The TTS suffix denotes a Hornby factory fit 8-pin TTS decoder.
