Pullman's?

Hi there was just looking online for some Pullman coaches only to find multiple variants. I am looking for a rake of 6 Pullman's with the match board sides the grey roof and lighting can anyone help me out?

Unless someone has a definitive list of all those produced by Hornby, I think it will be just a case of searching online and looking at individual coaches. There is of course the possibility of someone selling a full rake. Not sure if many were produced with the match board panel sides.

@Bryce, I think your search will be made even more difficult if you decide to go for Kitchen, parlour, brake or different classes. I searched for ages for white roof, all first class, Kitchen and parlour, smooth sides. If you want different names as well, you may have to resort to renaming. I made a few mistakes on the way, especially in the early days and wrongly acquired some grey roofs, match boards and non first class. Good luck in your hunt

This information is gleaned from Pat Hammond's British Model Trains catalogue which is now several years old (2013?) so there may be a few more recent releases to add.

I think I have avoided coaches with white roofs.

It should be noted that coaches included in named-train coach/train packs are likely to have roof boards for that train fitted.

Hornby also produced a few 12-wheel Pullman cars but I have not found conclusive proof as to whether they had matchboard or steel side panels - no doubt someone else can confirm.
