Micro motors and 1/32 Superkarts

Hi all,

I have 2 x 1/32 Scalextric Superkarts that have poor motors. Are these the same as the ones used in the micro Scalextric cars etc?

Take a picture please. It will have to be approved so you may have to wait a day or two....

My guess is that it is not the same but a picture will give certainty...

Thought I would try wiring the motors direct, missing out the digjtal plug section etc and both work as they should. So, the soldering iron will be coming out and new wires.

Moral of the story - check to see if its a wiring fault first before replacing the motor.
