SD45elect2000
That’s a great tribute. I am curious about the Beaufighter in fleet air arm colors, I like it ! I don’t have many D Day models, your Dakota is the most iconic tribute, I have none built. Randall
Ratch
Thanks Randall, the Beaufighter is a very old build, from a Dogfight Double if I remember correctly, and straight from the box.
paul71
some nice builds ratch like the Dakota I've not got one of those. I should think about building some D-Day things.

Peter Terry1707820234
Very fitting tribute Ratch for the D Day celebrations excellent work should be at the forefront of models at shows through out the year.
Ratch
Amera's S131 Airfix D-Day Coastal Defence Fort base alongside their S226 Coastal Assault with S228 D-Day Bunker and the Airfix A05702 D-Day Coastal Defence Fort. There is a Heller Pak-40 in the bunker. I can't recall where I got the beach obstacles from, but I scratched the long hedgehogs. There are a few Revell and Matchbox German figures mixed in with Airfix German Infantry, Paratroops and Mountain Troops, and Airfix British Infantry and Commandos. 3

Tour de Airfix
Lovely models and a great tribute. The other week I had opportunity to put on a display at my local scale model show and D-Day was, for me, the major part of my display. The above picture includes the Airfix D-Day Air Assault, Spitfire Mk.Vc and C-47 together with an Italeri Horsa glider interloper!
SD45elect2000
Love the typhoon, and the Spitfire, and the Dakota, and the Horsa, and the figures….whats not to like ? Randall
