Topcat_Ern
Another Tiger, this time with more PE and individual track links. Fun build, only issue is the turret has a lot of play locating in the hull, a bit of plasticard to increase the diameter of the turret and job done. Making the Tigers I need to do something different to each one, so decided that the side mud guards had to have some damage to them. Easily achieved with the foil off drinks bottles. Align correct size to the original part and rub so that rivet detail is transferred and transform to a pleasing shape and CA to the hull. Weathering powders in decal fix as washes and weathering powder in matt varnish to provide mud accumulation in tracks etc. The decal fix is good for adjusting effects with a wetted brush or cotton bud to streak etc. Andy
Grumps123
Really impressive Tiger, congrats! 👍 is there any chance that you could show the plasticard change that you made to the turret diameter?
Topcat_Ern
Thank you. The plasticard was just for two shims to stop play in the turret. (The cork I use to hold the turret whilst air brushing it). Andy
