Brew Man
If you have power rail, R8206 with your setup then you simply depress each of the spring button terminals and insert each of the two wires in turn. If you have the separate power clip, R602 then look about half way along a piece of double length track and you should see a small space between the rails and the sleepers. The clip slides under the rails all the way in so that each clip connects with each rail. Then connect you power leads to the connection points in the clip. In either case if you find your train is going the wrong way, simply swap the the wires round. EDIT: Bee posted while I was typing and his diagram excellently demonstrates the first part on my post. ModelerXYZ
To connect a R7229 controller to the track you need a R602 power connecting clip, Or a power rail. If you got the controller in a set, a power rail will be supplied with the set. If not, an R602 is required.Hold a rail up to the light, and you will see two holes between the sleepers and the rail. The clip goes in between the sleepers and rail and the R7229 controller plugs into it. If you haven't got the clip or a power rail, you can order it on this site or from ebay.
