60157
Hi could anyone help as I'm looking for the tender pickup strips as mine are getting bad and not picking up the power properly thanks 60157
RDS
@60157 I would start with your local Hornby stockist if you require new ones but usually they can be cleaned. Obviously, you need to be careful because they are quite delicate but I use an electrical cleaner (It comes in a spray can but I just squirt a bit onto a cotton bud) with good results to clean pick-ups. The son of Triangman
Try norfolk coast models, they have the part in stock.

graham_davies
I think I was told once that someone bought all the spares lock, stock, and barrel? I wish I knew who he was as I need a new body for my flying Scotsman as my wife found it and proceeded to dust it
Howbi
Would be worth your while joining the https://www.oolivesteam.com/ club, they have a shop with a limited number of spares I believe..........HB
The son of Triangman
The OO live steam club bought up most of the live steam parts from stockists etc., there's also Peter's spares and 2K technologies as well and ebay. I used to stock them in fact I still have stocks tucked away for the time when no one can get them.

The son of Triangman
A spare loco body will arm and leg territory as Rob rightly says. Most that are available now are split from models so sellers tend to recoupe the cost based on what it has cost them to buy a complete loco in for breaking for spares. The OO steam club is most likely place as they bought up most of the parts, 2K technologies is also worth a try.
96RAF
Remember that live steam bodies are not made from the same plastic as normal loco bodies. They have to be heat proof.
