Planning on being there on Sunday. I’ll make a list of questions from here to add to my list of questions. I’ve a few for Hornby, Peco and loads for the 3D printing experts that will hopefully be there.

Only managed to get halfway through it today. I’ll get to the rest tomorrow. Great insight from the outside, even if the outside was inside about a year ago.

Is the list for things wanted getting shorter… or longer?

So many laughing and thumbs up wanted but I’m over my limit.

Personally, I find it easier to understand if a reply is made to a specific point after other comments have been posted.

I had the first email notification the day before delivery (yesterday, Monday), although I did the live chat thingy last Friday to remind them about Hornby already showing stock. Amazingly, they messaged me later saying they were expecting a delivery on Saturday. Arrived in stock on the Saturday, dispatched on the Monday and delivered on the Tuesday. If only all companies were like that...

All seven arrived in one well packaged box just a few minutes ago. So much easier from Rails and already had the 10% discount - no need to wait a month for any points to be added.

Mine's a Pro 5th generation and is happily using the latest OS version (17.4.1). Never had a problem using the HM DCC app.

I'll make sure the iPad is fully charged for Friday.

I've voted, but.... Once the initial, major design works has been finalised, surely it's a minor matter of sorting out the various paint jobs? Is that me simplifying it too much?

Some new ideas and suggestions seen here. I'll be looking at planning yet another plan now... 🤪 I was tempted at the £1.99 bonus offer. Until I saw it was monthly. And that there are even higher monthly options available. On top of the ads every few minutes. I'm patient enough to wait for the free options.

Some pics of the resin couplings. I'm waiting for some new magnets to insert into the holes so can't test them quite yet. There was only one length on Thingiverse but It should be easy to make them a bit longer between the NEM pocket fixing and the magnets if need be.

It’s because of what happened in the past that I’ve cancelled my pre-orders for these with Hornby and re-ordered them all from Rails.

I’ve 3D printed some slightly different magnetic couplers. I tried both plastic and resin, but it looks like the resin will be the one that works better. I’ll post some pictures next week when I get back to work.

I'm a subscriber but I'm getting jealous as mine's not arrived yet.

I'm willing to do a 10 minute commute if the pay grade is high enough. 😁

Nearly all great news. Really happy the way TT:120 seems to be heading. Not too reassured however by the answer George gave to my question about the HM7000 6 pin decoder. He seemed to indicate that the design isn't yet finalised and they're still having problems sourcing the correct specification chips. Where does that leave those of us that want to be solely HM7000, maybe including those new to the hobby that have just bought digital TT sets? I've currently got two 08's, the green one and now the new J50 on pre-order. That's four locos that will be sitting in their boxes (after running them in and checking for faults using standard DC) for who knows how long? I know there are ways they can be converted by those far more talented than me, including sound, but the extra sums involved (compared to a Hornby chip) are eye-watering.

I've got a resin printer but no good with designing. Re-scaling and combining kit pieces downloaded files to 3D print as one are about the most creative I get 🤩

Same for me finally. Maybe their new consultant will be able to give the warehousing and logistics side of the business a proverbial kick up the ****.

All joking aside, Hornby need to get up to date with their deliveries. Nowadays it's expected to have an item dispatched within 24 hours of placing an order (Monday to Friday obviously) when that item appears in stock, especially if ordered in advance. We're all here (almost) patient. Not everyone will be. BTW, my order placed last year is still showing as pending. They have stock showing. They could have taken the money for it, but haven't. It's bad business. Patience rapidly running out.
