    Bond bug

Great to see the Bond Bug back, Airfix must have hidden the tooling from previous Hornby management who scrapped Hornby and Scalextric tooling. Wonder what else will emerge.
  2. So the new Jaguar E type is one of the new simpler starter kits.
  3. Why is the Jag going to be 1.43 scale, am I missing something, thought it would be 1.32
  4. The service sheet is listing 3 models, so there must be a possible 3rd unless it's for the single Delboy. Need Airfix to dig out the Bond Bug tooling.
  5. sorry get the tape measure to the Reliant, it's packed away at moment,
  6. Great news interesting to see if they dig out more old toolimg
  7. Seems there are three 1.32 scale car kits and one Quick build Lambo in Jadlams top 15 for the last 12 months, Triumph Herald at 13, Ford 3 litre at 11 and Jaguar e type at 3 so they must sell.
  8. If the Bond Bug tooling still exists the bug would make an ideal running mate for the Reliant Regal in the Scalextric 2020 range.

    Bond Bug

Well if the tooling is still available the bug would make good company for the Reliant Regal in the 2020 Scalextric range

    Maserati Indy

Good to see the Maserati Indy for possible release, as long as it doesn't get delisted again like a couple of years ago.
  11. There speaks an unbiased moderator, but wouldn't it be an interesting challenge to create a front cab model that would accept mutiple rear sections.

    Motorhead

Got the slot cars already but like to convert 1.32 scale vehicles to slot cars but do have some on my to do list in the stash and after seeing the James May thing on Hornby chances are there is nothing left to re-release.

    Motorhead

Got an email from Airfix under the title Motorhead we know you've all been waiting for this one....and there was me thinking it was going to be a car....guess what another thing with wings.
  14. I think we all agree on a Jaguar Mk2 for Scalextric and Airfix, but for a starter it would be great if Airfix re-released the Jaguar 420 if it still exists but we are never told, it would fit well in the ' Vintage classics' range.
  15. Well Revell 1.32 cars seem to be selling well on ebay, the w beetle, beach buggy, opel and street rod are all re-releases and are finding homes.
  16. Nothing from the Scalextric MGB has been passed over to the Airfix one, not even the grill
  17. Scalextric used Airfix LIDAR scanning technology, but a Scalextric tooling is different to Airfix

    Bond Bug

Surely this now has enough interest to be considered for Kitstarter. If the tooling is not available then tell us.
  19. Well as Dame Edna would say 'look it's a tudor car'
  20. Here's one for Airfix model planners, according to honestjohnclassics in March 2014 there were still 19,440 assorted Morris 1000's registered on the road in the UK,, sounds like a ready market to me for the making of a 1.32 scale model
