  1. I had the same issue, but the following day website had been fixed. My model has now arrived, but the chimney is floating around the clear plastic insert and I've not ventured to take it out yet to see if it just clips back in or I'll be needing to return.
  2. Is there any update on the intermediate release or what the major release will include? Hopefully it will fix all the issues related to using with Windows 10 and 11 consistantly.
  3. I'm still waiting on mine too, seems like a lot of people got theirs a long while ago but if there is another batch it would be nice to know that it is due in X period. I've chased up mine as well this week as it was still showing as on order only to be sort of told that I'm on a waiting list and that. "I can see that there are still numerous Tom Moore pre orders pending subject to a waiting list from the date and time your pre order was made. You will be notified shortly if you have been successful." Was the intial response, so when i asked them if I'd actually taken part in a lottery as I didn't unserstand why I should be waiting to see if I'd been successful I got the following. "We received an unprecedented amount of orders from customers wanting to support a great charity cause with the Captain Tom Moore Loco. Unfortunately, we filled the order list very early after release therefore implemented a waiting list which was listed on the website under the product information. All orders are released in date and time order. For customers who have failed to make payments or have cancelled orders this then released more to customers waiting in the que. " My order number is H00333833, so if yours is after me I think you can safely say you're further down a waiting list that I am and neither of us will probably get anything or a reasonable answer from Hornby, of why when ordering something that clearly shows as available it never was going to be.
  4. I've just double checked and my order was 3rd May and still nothing.
  5. Not had a promised delivery, but my order still shows as pre-order and no response from my email to them yet on whats happening to my order. On rmweb someone else reported the same issue and was told by Hornby that there order was actuall only on the reserve waiting list and not an actual pre-order, so i want to see. Also been told that all of the 3500 have been shipped, so if you haven't got it yet then you won't be getting one.
  6. I think he means the membership card - Red Plastic with Hornby Collectors Club, Your name, membership number and expiry date. I don't think it entitles you to anything - you don't have to sign it. It used to get you 10% off at certain Hornby stockists, but don't think anyone does that any more.
  7. I have exactly the same issue and thought it must be me, but thought I'd check before contacting Hornby to send it back. The only thing i did notice is that it feels like there's a slightly swelling at one end as if its slightly too big for the box.
