  1. Recently bought a Earl of StGermans with TTS installed and have an Ecos 50200 controller with the latest updates, trying to program the TTS on the prog track is a nightmare, 128 steps as required, first programmed to reverse direction after which the Loco only moves in revesrse regardless of controller, cancel reverse programme and all is fine again, then tried to adjust the starting delay CV201 reads fine as default 25 and appears to write a new setting (50) but when reading again it is still at 25.......no other decoder has ever given problems programming on Ecos.......quite annoying as I notice this might be a very long running issue.
  2. I didn't, started as soon as I got the email and have been trying to get the site to work ever since, just got all the way through to the PayPal bit at the end and got the message no more available....thanks Hornby..... ☹️
  3. Indeed this is another route, but I was surprised to find these "new" members from Sodor are much more cartoon like than the Hornby verions and frankly I much prefer the Hornby way of making them look more "realistic" if that can be applied to this range. We have our grandchildren staying with us for the duration (thier Dad is a A&E Doctor presently dealing with the Cov-19 issue) and they certainly love watching Thomas whizz around playing the theme tune (loaded onto a Loksound chip) but it stops me getting on with completing the layout as every time I try to sneak off into the playroom I get a little follower tagging along behind LOL. Our Thomas is the blue metal flake LE version and looks quite good, oddly I was looking for some modelling stuff at the weekend and found Duck langoush in his box as well.....but not chipped him yet.
  4. Funny you say that....digging the thread up from the grave here, but I have an 08 TTS which is fitted as standard I believe with a Loksound V4.....I need to fit a "stay alive" to the Loco, I don't want it to run for weeks by itself just enough to get over a dirty spot. Is there any information for fitting SA into these chips?
