  1. Here is a conversation of an 1:72 (H0) Airfix WWII US. Paratrooper into a cold war German Bundeswehr Trooper. It´s a great pity, Airfix, the big player in making figures, produce no loger the little men. I wish next year will bring us Airfix figures again and maybe some new sets like modern figures, or even some cold war figures.
Here are pictures from my Airfix 1:72 Afrika Korps. In my opinion this is one of the best Airfix sets ever. /media/tinymce_upload/c866756e79424db4365bbcd45c65b79f.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/a66af720cf55a78868dc8f0c5ceef7c4.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/81cc8b4b1500f8686e682e46b259ce8c.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/b059b4821b2176d5d9bc05266b040462.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/94e7a77dbe3c3cf35d6456f8f8b42915.jpg
  3. Hi John and Carlzere, Thank you for your sentiments for the painting. I am very happy about this. After cleaning the figures I spray an adhesive primer -as undercoat- on (in German it is called "Haftgrundierung") in white. Then painting, shading ect. and after this I use a clear cote as finish.
  4. Yes, it`s the Airfix 1763 British Infantry Set. You are right Nuno!
  5. Here are some pictures of my painted British Infatry WW2 in "Northern Europe" /media/tinymce_upload/c54d01dd6411e947b9b3469b7672f835.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/320cb2ca592a6a2ac3ec3d7f387e12d3.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/66b190882f71a5fd9a3f14a05f13ca72.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/6a94bb2f2e56b2f954a32de2299971fd.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/9bed6f6bf4c06521e885ad23f9041dec.jpg the pictures are not so good, I am sorry.
  6. Here are pictures from my last work: Airfix "Forward Command Post" in 1:76. I build it on a self made base and created some demolition waste of plastics and sand. I used some tufts of static grass. Reviewed I think the roof I painted a little to red. The walls are to thin and the roofing tile are to big, but it is an old kit. I did not used the other parts of the kit and it is suitable for different settings (not only for WW2). /media/tinymce_upload/df62e56f4b36600c9bf68d1843de1c83.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/ded7e978d8d05a49694cb5dbda2802cd.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/94ad415fd20e7732e94a445133eb2e50.jpgI
  7. Hi, thank you for letting me know! I mean the SAS 1:32 from Airfix (from the 1980`s)
  8. Did Airfix made their 1:32 SAS ever in 1:76? There are some rumours about this... I don`t think so, but what do you mean? Does somebody know?
