  1. Thank you very much jopres57! ๐Ÿ˜€ The ground effects are "learning by doing", grasses are from the railway aftermarket.
  2. finally my US./ NATO Figures are ready. It took a long time to find the right colors for the camo. /media/tinymce_upload/26c04a1ab963095c1f31b97f10fb390e.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/5cf595235de7a0f8382e98c52fcc0d31.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/9d34945d6e286a77460cbf5bb254c539.jpg
  3. Ready. Itยดs a "what if" vehicle. /media/tinymce_upload/4633bdf31f9fd78763317ff7d3d49c7a.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/2953f019ea032412dfc954c05a58c9fb.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/d2e7cdaef7b865b526e48fb6fefa4572.jpg
  4. Details are ready painted. The turret is almost ready, too. I will show the finished vehicle soon. /media/tinymce_upload/3fb4a62225d71b7823b80912084818dd.jpg
  5. Thank you for the review, Ratch. I know the figures and have two sets of these, I think.
  6. During the paint for the details is drying I`m going to scratchbuild the turret. Hereยดs the first layout. /media/tinymce_upload/d63b933d693dc14aa904c5b6114c421c.jpg
  7. That looks very fine! Good Job! ๐Ÿ˜€
  8. /media/tinymce_upload/d726c0f8d0f303cb04a1f34b8c66f74c.jpg underbody and upper hull are ready for painting the details.
  9. Hi Ratch, Just look at my fist post on the top. It`s an Airfix Luftwaffen Officer who changed head and right arm. I took a little putty to coat boots into trousers. Look at my post with the Bundesgrenzschutz (BGS) it`s the the same figure.
  10. @Paws4thot Thank you. ๐Ÿ˜€ Originally I`d like to build more policemen, but because only Airfix figures are permitted the choice for that is very limited. โ˜น๏ธ
  11. Next step was the under-carriage. The fitting of the wheels and tracks is fantastic. It all goes together almost without glue like a "snap fix" kit. Airfix made here a great job. /media/tinymce_upload/9179fdcfad50f03de614b5fd8adcdab4.jpg withe upper hull: /media/tinymce_upload/5941539fa2c6ac6412c894a3a6244ae2.jpg

  13. Hi all, I will do a "What if" postwar Tank for a very early German Bundeswehr setting. It will be based on the Airfix Cromewell IV Tank. Fist Pictures will follow soon.
  14. Hi all, I`ve build this Piper Cherokee Arrow many years ago. Itยดs not my best but I like it. /media/tinymce_upload/2b9c00470f3dea7b7e394bfb0ebad182.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/398a013358733e87fdc3fc0796a053b4.jpg
  15. thank you, Ratch. As always well-informed. ๐Ÿ˜€
  16. @splash846, Alan thank you very much to let me know Regards, Tom
  17. This box is since decades in my pool. Is this a seldom box? I have never seen one of this boxes again. It contains the type two of "Commandos". /media/tinymce_upload/a97112df45e0f21aeb148dcd1952aebe.jpg
  18. @Paws4thot exactly what I mean... ๐Ÿ˜€
  19. I am working at a second version, too ๐Ÿ˜€
  20. @dabhand there was a re-issue in white, too. I have both versions (white and yellow) do not know what color the current ones are. I think it would be fine if there were a version of newer, or future astronauts to face the adventures in space and these in 1:72!
  21. again... cold war figures, cold war tanks and vehicles, helicopters, all in 1:76 better in 1:72...
  22. calling them "cold war" was the idea from HoscaleGeek, but the idea is good and I like it ๐Ÿ˜‰ I have never seen a set of "modern" soviet infantry in 1:32. Only the H0/00 "modern soviet infantry" figures Modern sets I know are "Modern British Infantry", "Modern Bundeswehr" and "SAS" in 1:32. Please let me know if there is such a set.
  23. @ HoscaleGeek I agree 100%. The figures could be called "cold war" and it would be great if Airfix would offer them in 1:76 or 1:72. Also the old "Bundeswehr" set from the 80`s.
  24. My crocodile tank without weathering, aging and aerials. /media/tinymce_upload/2d90f3ebc8e110d0ac9ddfb22c5484b7.JPG
