I will do another conversation from my favourite tank kit for conversations, the Airfix WWI Tank in 1:76. It will be another "what if" for the late twenties, or early thirties. Here is the first picture. The tank is widened in comparison with the original vehicle.

years and years ago, I build this "Boomerang" in 1:72 from Airfix.

I used Vallejo paint, I am sorry, but I don´t know the number. The instruction sheet suggest Humbol 150 (Forest green), it also says, as Ratch´s note, this vehicle was used in Papua New Guinea by the Australians.

That´s a nice paint job, Doom. Did you use glossy colors? What about an "closer" Picture of the Germans?

TB2, thats a good looking bird! You`ve made a good job on it. I think I have one in my stash, too.

Here are some Pictures of my Mathilda Hedgehog. Its a fine model. But it looks like new, I have to ageing it.

Here is another "What if". What about the polish Airforce had some Spitfires in 1939? I build this one some time ago. Livery in Air Force scheme with underwins in bare metal. Decals are from my stash.

This is my hypothetical splinter camo Spitfire. I got this very old MKI Spitfire several years ago in a polybag. There was no instruction sheet, but decals. I liked to bulid a "what if" Spitfire and made this one in an unusual splinter camo. Hope you like it.

Another "what if-project" was my german Saab "Tunnan". The "deutsche Tonne" flew as photo reconnaisance in the late 60s and early 70s. These look fine....when did Airfix realeased the figures?

Also in hardplastic maybe 1:87 figures will fit, top.

There are several manufacturers of metal based figures in this scale...

jopress57: no, thats an official Bundeswehr scheme. The refuellers are painted in the early years in a color called "gelbolive" over all.
