Hi Dee as long as there is an adult present I'm sure your son will enjoy something along the lines like the Hornby Santa express trainset or you could purchase a Thomas tank engine trainset which Hornby no longer make but eBay have many. Be warned though some are going for silly prices.

Hi James that’s the information I have receivEd today in an email from a Hornby. 😀 quote: Thank you for your email. There has been a slight delay with the Club Loco and it is now scheduled to come in to stock later this month - September. Due to the volume we need to dispatch it will most likely be with you early October. Thank you for your patience

I like to use Gaugemaster pins as some of the other members have already mentioned. I use a small hammer and then drive them home with a flat punch.

It’s just a matter of being patient as I asked this question when I first joined june this year. Hornby have told me September as mentioned in an earlier post.

When my locos and wagons are not being used they are packed in their original boxes and stored.

So happy it’s all sorted in one place now. 😉

I don’t think it’s doing any harm if a new thread has been started, even though the subject is active on the forum. I think a lot of people sometimes just start a new thread and not realising there is one active. The thread can be removed at anytime by a moderator. 😉

Hi Hornby have been In touch with me today regarding the net work rail club loco and it’s going to be September at the earliest for locos to arrive. At least it can go towards a Christmas present for myself 😆

I rechecked my email and I have mis read it, they said I would receive my card, pin badge and magazine within 28 days which I have and the loco will follow. My mistake.

Hi WTD I’m not complaining in anyway and I can definitely survive, I’m just pointing out that when I joined the email I received said I would have the loco and magazine within two weeks. Anyway less of that I’m just looking forward to the loco arrivin. 😉
