  1. F.S. ITALIA e636--d342--e424--d341 (youtube.com) On this video you can see the major locos employed in Italy during the early sixties before to change liveries for dark grey. I hope you can enjoy this short clip. Thanks to all you and congratulations for the new format,i like it. Best greetings Alberto (Aldebaran)
  2. JOUEF JUNIOR HJ 2061 BB 122318 SNCF (youtube.com) After a few months of silence the Hornby group made significant improvements on the locomotives at entry level prices. In Italy it happened with the d445 and E424, in France better luck befell our cousins from beyond the Alps as the locomotives were equipped with a 5-pole engine with double cardan transmission and fly and they also retouched the lights by equipping the French locomotives with white headlights at the front and red at the rear with very powerful lighting as can be seen from my video. The body of the bb 22230 Jouef with 2 engines on each bogie was replaced by an ex Lima case while bearing the name Jouef under the locomotive. The model reproduces bb 122318 in concrete livery. The carriages are Roco Gran Comfort of 1cl and SBB-CFF-FFS of 2cl. The new Forum seems good to me, the graphics are better. Best regards to everyone, Alberto (Aldebaran) ps) I also think with the support of all my friends there can be good news for everyone.
  3. Dear Friends, I tried to make this video with the greatest possible care because it is dedicated to the memory of my parents and to the last happy Christmas of 1965 before my father died of esophageal cancer in 1966. They are the first trains received as gifts and I am sure to make them happy having taken care of them for many decades. They are perfectly functional with the exception of the locomotives on the track of the goods yard. The 1 and 2cl type 1959 carriages are Rivarossi produced in the 90s, the baggage compartment is an A.C.M.E. called Dy. The 100 door carriage is a Roco and the Corbellini on boogies are Lima. I greet you with affection and now for a long time I will not insert videos because I am looking for a locomotive that I have had in the past, it is a SNCF locomotive, very difficult to find. I wish you all a pleasant weekend. I forgot the station you see on the Italian model is a 1964 Lima which I changed the name to Trullo and ironically the Italian Lima called all the stations produced Lerino even if not even one corresponds to the real station of Lerino. Those were heroic times of model railways. Alberto (Aldebaran) RIVAROSSI E646 1SERIE GR 625๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” (youtube.com)
  4. My dear friends, Your kind words and appreciation fill me with joy. Thank you very much with all my heart. I will do my best to curb my enthusiasm by ensuring all of you post from time to time a few posts without exaggerating and in the section indicated by you as correct. Thanks again . I wish you all a pleasant weekend. Alberto (Aldebaran)
  5. First of all I want to thank you for the good wishes sent for our Jasmine. With a lot of care and love she is now better and we hope everything goes well. My basic knowledge of the English language perhaps hurt me to express my thoughts. All Italians they love the English people and their traditions. Affirming that 90 pct loves the English monarchy in our country is the greatest moral recognition that can be made for the ruling house of Windsor. We must understand that in Italy our monarchy has brought and delivered the Italy to fascism, it promulgated racial laws and brought death and destruction everywhere until it brought it to Italy in 1943. By specifying this you can understand that in Italy no royal is loved, saying that we love Windsor 90% is an exceptional compliment. I apologize and get to the reason for my message because I have read several comments and I apologize for the inconveniences created.Obviously and in all sincerity I only agree with one criticism I send my videos to promote my very small youtube channel. This with extreme honesty.I do not However, I want to cause problems for anyone so if, as I have read, authoritative members of this prestigious forum believe that old trademarks should not be posted even in Hornby International, I ask you, or rather I beg you, to delete all my posts because I do not have this possibility despite having tried since yesterday. Thank you for your attention and patience and I also express on behalf of my wife all our sympathy for the United Kingdom. I love Talisker aged 10 years, I smoke Dunhill grinds, my favorite blend is the London Mixture, I have hundreds of issues of Hornby magazine in paperback......in short, even if you cancel me I understand and I sincerely apologize to everyone and you. Best regards, Alberto (Aldebaran)

  8. HORNBY LIMA FS FIAT D 445 (youtube.com) This Hornby-Lima locomotive marked a clear positive change for models that were valid from an aesthetic point of view but lacking in engines. The locomotive finally had an engine with cardan transmission enclosed in a zamak shell and LED lighting. The red light was not foreseen in the queue as the same model was reproduced under the Hornby Rivarossi brand with the addition of red lights. Hornby did even better by putting its hand to some popular Jouef models with the same philosophy but this time the red lights were present on the Jouef loisir models I hope that Hornby will restore the luster it deserves to Lima which will transform itself from a toy industry into an industry for much more sophisticated railway models. I wish Hornby all the best both for the English market but also for the prestigious brands acquired. I will publish on Monday the e424 with cardan transmission designed by Hornby for which I replaced the case with the Lima one released in 1960. For the time that case was stupendous like the Rivarossi and Mรคrklin.Best wishes and have a nice week end, Alberto (Aldebaran) ps) in my video you see the following coaches bar grill SNCF Lima Italia Wagon Lits T2 Jouef France Wagon Lits Excelsior made by A.C.M.E.
  9. JOUEF AUTORAIL SNCF X 3800 PICASSO (youtube.com) Dear friends, thank you for viewing my videos. I will temporarily close the cycle dedicated to France with a video of an iconic railcar that needs no introduction. The following week will be dedicated to Italy for the locomotives in DC, (later I will publish the Italian locomotives with Mรคrklin Mfx digital) and in the following one it will be the turn of the United Kingdom locomotives in DC. I wish you a good weekend and see you soon. Alberto (Aldebaran)
  10. JOUEF PACIFIC NORD 231C CHAPELON-jouef and lima coaches (youtube.com) The video is dedicated to all the friends of the forum but in particular to Rana Temporia and Mr Bee. Have a good weekend everyone and next appointment with Renault Picasso. Cheers Alberto
  11. Dearest friends, Your comments on the video fill me with happiness. Hornby, a prestigious brand in the world for model railways, has under its umbrella brands rooted in their countries of origin, in practice Hornby today produces models from all over the world. 1) Rana Temporia you make me really happy and you are very knowledgeable about this category of locomotives. Your comment would be ideal to quote as a description of the video. 2) Mr. Bee, in reality the dancer travels with one of the two pantographs raised and to be precise on the French Riviera where we spent over 20 years of holidays the dancer model is longer, it is the 25000 class with 2 windows next to the doors of the train drivers and the side grille shutters. This Lima model was produced in 1996 and has worked perfectly ever since. Thank you with all my heart. Every day if I can I will publish a video ending the series with 2 Rivarossi models as gifts from my parents way back in 1964. Then I will move on to the British Hornby models. And then........let's leave a little suspense. Thanks to you and all the friends on the forum. Alberto ps) Jasmine is better, she takes the required treatments and when I see her happy she fills me with joy. Alberto ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿฆณ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿถ
  12. LIMA BB 17047 & RIB SNCF - YouTube Dear friends, as I mentioned Plasticville route 66 is the ideal railway to continue presenting direct current models. Today in the video you will see a Lima composition (currently produced under the Hornby-Jouef brand) with a versatile locomotive nicknamed the dancer and a composition of INOX carriages with a driver's cab located at the end of the train. Depending on the regions of use, the colors of the engines change , I own the INOX PACA trainset in service on the French Riviera and the locomotive in concrete livery. Good vision. Alberto (Aldebaran)
  13. JOUEF BB 25181 SNCF LIMA COACHES CORAIL (youtube.com) Before being purchased by Hornby, in the last months of production the Lime group hurriedly created models that were a mix of the various brands. The beautiful BB25181 locomotive that I purchased from Contesso in Nice is actually in every respect a Lima model with ringfield engine. The Corail carriages which at the end of the 90s were produced by Lima in perfect 1:87 scale as the Lima collection with the blue box. Best greetings Alberto
  14. Many thanks dear Bee have a nice week Alberto
