  1. Doors do seem similar in size, but putting one next to the other still looks odd !
  2. Bungalow is about 11cm x 9.5 cm and 6cm tall. Main body of church is 6 x 12cm excluding "appendages" and about 5cm tall.
  3. I have just got myself a set of buildings. Quite impressive except that the bungalow seems bigger than the church, it really looks odd. Is a bungalow really bigger than a church ?!!
  4. Yes, that's the sort of thing , but Is that controllable via the Bluetooth app ? Doesn't seem so or am I wrong ? Also not TT. Just putting the sound files out there as a profile to be downloaded onto a decoder that will work with the Bluetooth app is what I am wondering ? Such a thing would mean I for one would buy a decoder and speaker for them and hide it somewhere !
  5. Very impressed with my new TT120 Valenta HST sounds ! Not sure if this has been thought about but what about a "Nature" profile, so that one perhaps could buy a card with a speaker, wire it up and put it in a house, shed, bush etc with birdsong, cows, sheep, farm machinery, dogs, perhaps odd things such as couples having a row etc.. would work with any scale. Apologies if such a thing already exists and I have missed it !
  6. They must have read my unhappy post here this morning .. ( no, not really .. Probably not !) "your pre order has arrived and is being prepared for dispatch" 🤩
  7. Just had my email saying " Blue sound fitted HST in stock order now" but as with many of you, have had this pre ordered since last year and pre order still showing as "pending" . Very frustrating. Presume the fact that now in stock to order ones are £40 more than my preorder cost has something to do with it, are they leaving pre order customers until last whilst they sell them at higher price to new customers?
  8. That`s a sneaky trick. Sending an email saying " New TT Arrivals" with a big photo of the HST at the top of it which when excitedly clicked on reveals the new arrivals are a few oil tankers 😞 . HST still not available. Sigh.
  9. YES ! I just googled and found that video, that's the exact issue, yes, as seen towards the end of that video. Except with the tender the "bump" derails the whole thing.
  10. The A1 keeps derailing all the time ! Still waiting for other locos to be available, it had such promise but is turning out not to be as easy as I had hoped.
  11. If only things actually worked ! I am having lots of issues re derailments. I have seen the posts about the leading bogie an the A1 sometimes falling off the tracks and have this problem randomly, but I am also having issues with the A1 tender appearing to ride up on something when going over points. it doesn`t happen on all of them or all of the time, just sometimes. Annoyingly I have now nailed all my track in place. As the tender approaches a facing point, just after the tender wheels go past the moving head of the diverging flanges it seems to rise up on something and then derail. I can`t for the life of me see what it is rising up on. Is it just distorted point geometry or is there some common thing that causes this, e.g. some part of the spring mechanism or something? At the point where it rises up, if passively moving it unpowered, the tender seems to rock from side to side/up and down when sitting at the divergence of the points but I cant see what it is rocking on ! . I am only hoping if I get my pre ordered HST and class 50 they don`t also keep falling off the tracks.
  12. Ralymatt, Thanks, Aha I see, are you meaning that the leading wheels short out the point just where it diverges? When I first took the loco new out of its box one of the front wheels just fell off so I just pushed it back onto the axle, that might be it. Still not great to have a fault "out of the box" . Update: Thanks so much for your help Rallymatt, I have rung the shop I bought it from and they have kindly agreed for me to drop it back with them tomorrow. The wheel at the front was basically wobbling and has now fallen off again. Update2. Took it back to Gaugemaster and they swapped it for a brand new one ! Can`t fault their excellent after sales service. Wheel seems ok on this one so far!
  13. Never mind the 08. I have a TT A1 from the Scotsman set, just "invested" ( not the right word) in some track, points, etc, laid them out on a completely flat plywood baseboard and seemingly randomly the Loco cuts out and stops over points. Particularly frustrating as it is HMDCC which means it takes ages to restart itself. Not impressed.
  14. One of my front wheels also fell off as I got the loco out of the box, interestingly also purchased from Gaugemaster, in their actual shop. I pushed it back onto the axle though and it has so far stayed on. Update, took it back and Gaugemaster swapped it for a brand new one ! Excellent after sales service.
