MK 3 coaches arrived to by request here they are being test run.

I just tested my new arrived BR MK3 all coupled fine and the exception was the buffer car to standard randomly uncouples at different speeds and at different locations, I did notice that the arm wasn’t dropping into place no matter how jiggly I got with it, it seems to stick in the raised position occasionally.

I need to do the same

That’s the trouble with all social media it seems to be common place to have misleading headlines, I saw one the other day about airlines updating times to get to the airport, had a read and it hadn’t changed its been the same since 2016 but it’s just to get you to read articles etc and tbh gets right on my wick.

Just having a nosy at arnold items and noticed some diesel shunters on there with DCC fitted versions (6pin) release data has October 2024 and thought oooo they maybe due soon, checked Hornby site and they are showing Autumn 2025 hopefully just a place holder while they sort the issues with manufacture in Hong Kong. Feel sorry for my DB 08 Shunter per thing will have been packed up for over a year and half only seeing daylight for the odd photo shoot 😝

East Mallingford was on holiday last week, MK3 coaches due tomorrow thanks to Hornby CS holding dispatch until we were back. Got some nice pics of European locos on a trip from Salzburg over the border to Berchestgaden in Germany. I think Arnold do a shunter similar to the ÖBB one.
