 Sorry they don't meet with your approval Geoff. Maybe you could show us how it should be built.

As you can see, the bonnet should extend slightly in front of the grill to create a small overhang.  Even the Italeri quickbuild on the right of the last photo has this, as does the old Matchbox version to the rear.

its not the most accurate of jeep models but for my wargaming purposes its fine , looks the part with a wire cutter and rear mounted 50 cal.

Actually until the new Airfix kit was released this was probably the most accurate 1/72 Jeep kit out there, incredible things have been done with it:  http://www.blitz72.com/2011/10/wip-72-aifix-ww2-jeep-willys/
